For SS16 the designs are based on asymmetrical structures and the combination of different materials.
The fusion of “circular” patterns and silks symbolize an Eastern philosophy of life while the combination of solid “square” pattern and wool textile represent the Western world. In other words, vibrant modernity merging with the traditional “zen” Eastern environment.
This contrast and interplay between two cultures is also reflected throughout the minimalist Western asymmetric cutting techniques and Eastern flowing silhouette, creating an overall fluid and elegant look.
The shape of each piece is minimalist and easy to wear, and the colors are clean and delicate.
The collision and fusion between Eastern and Western cultural elements is the main driving force behind the design.
2016 春夏不对称式结构和材质组合贯穿整个系列。
在面料细节上，运用了圆，方几何图形和丝，毛面料的组合。东方的圆－禅意，飘逸，静，西方的方－简约，立体，闹；以及寓意东方的柔然淡雅面料，力挺面料寓意西方，两种对比，碰撞彼此又奇妙融合。
在设计廓形上将西方立体裁剪与东方飘逸廓形相结合。
东西方文化的融合是设计根源。

From our very first conversations with Ren Hang, we felt immediately – almost intuitively – that only his shots could reflect our brand’s core culture. Hang is a very young, sensitive, and excellent artist.
Our first goal was to do away with deeply-entrenched habits in fashion shots in order to return to a real understanding of the body’s natural states while focusing attention on the clothing itself.
Hang’s artwork expresses both the tension and refined structure of the human body; the colors and visuals are vigorous, clearly uncovering the vitality and instinct that exist beyond the photos themselves.
