The International Design House Exhibition will present an exciting programme that explores how global cities can use design to face the challenges of urbanisation. The exhibition draws on the World Design Capital Taipei 2016 theme Sisheng: Life Quality and Health, Ecological Sustainability, Smart Living, and Urban Regeneration.
The Unfold Cities pavilion will showcase pioneering urban development projects from around the world, while the International Open Call and Designer in Residence programmes will be exhibited in the Taipei Issuuuue pavilion. Visual artist Page Tsou and calligraphy artist Tong Yang-Tze will also bring creative flair to the event with their pavilions Visual Taipei and From Ink to Apparel: A Crossover Between Calligraphy Art and Fashion Design.
