WELCOME TO THE NEW NEW

Okay guys omg…I’m BACK! And for reals this time and…WITH A BRAND NEW WEBSITE!!! Did you notice? Did you did you did you? It’s been a long hiatus this time and I swear I wasn’t just lounging around being lazy and doing nothing (okay maybe like only 50% of the time I was…). I kinda felt that my blog was in a rut or maybe I was just sick of it myself but it was definitely time for a make over. Instead of going the minimalist route – like so many bloggers are these days i.e. marble print details, cursive fonts, dainty little text, etc – I decided to go the opposite direction and use bold fonts, big titles and finally some major rich color. For the first time as well, I’ve introduced a “homepage” where you can view a slideshow of featured posts up top, thumbnails of the latest posts and also directly click to #DDTV posts or read my guide posts on Shanghai (more posts coming soon!). I’m also going to be adding a page where you can shop my Instagram posts, but that’ll be built slowly as the posts come in. Let me know what you guys think of the new look and feel! Excited to get back into blogging and sharing more and more with you guys! So happy to be back ♡♡♡

I picked up this Black Crane dress from Mohawk General Store when I was in LA in June and I love it so fking much. I’m actually trying to make myself not wear it too often but I just love it so much. It might not be obvious with all my outfits but this type of cinched waist and major a-line skirt silhouette is one of my all time favourites. I’ve always eyed this particular Black Crane dress but the brand is not stocked anywhere in Asia and this was definitely a silhouette that had to be tried on in store (as opposed to just bought online) because of the major poofy a-line shape but now that I have it, I love it so much and am planning to pick up a few more Black Crane pieces next time I’m in LA (next month!). Paired with my new favourite sneakers: the Nikelab x Dover Street Market Roshe Daybreaks..SO comfy and makes for easy twirling~
