Brocade Country is my happy place. Whenever in need of some design inspiration for my jackets, I retreat here, where I could easily spend hours inspecting every stitch of their stunning collection of Miao textiles and vintage embroidered jackets and skirts. Each piece is genuine and soulful – exquisitely crafted by traditional hand-made methods that are, unfortunately, dying art forms. A total bohemian treasure trove, it’s my number one pick for gypsetters visiting Shanghai. I’ll let the images do the rest of the talking.
