Since I was 13, I always felt special buying Topshop since it wasn’t available in Hong Kong but now with the pending launch of the new store on Queen’s Road Central (in June!) and with international shipping on the site, I’m pretty much NOT SPECIAL AT ALL （￣へ￣）I’d also like to avoid wearing the exact thing as other people, thank you very much. Now enter INVERTED EDGE: a newly launched online shop that features unique designers that are lesser known but have some really cool stuff like the above pieces. I mean they still carry some cool ass brands like Karen Walker and Stolen Girlfriends Club but they definitely opened up my radar to new designers like Eugene Lin (yay Singapore!) and Etw. Vonneguete.
Above are some of my favourite picks from the online store. In case you can’t tell, I’m super into sets: matching top and bottom and also trying to break up an all-black outfit with some sweet digital prints. The site is definitely worth a browse if you want to find more unique pieces to avoid accidentally wearing the same outfit as someone and looking like their body double! Don’t worry, I bet you totally wore it better though. Hong Kong is so desperate for something different.
